Does ECK 1.0.0 GA offer log collection directly from files in kubernetes ?
Or pls guide me to it

Could you provide more details about what you want to achieve ?
If you are trying to setup FileBeat to collect logs from files on the K8S nodes there is a recipe in the config/recipes/beats directory of the ECK repository.
