Error while restarting filebeat?

Please find the error and help me in order to recover from it.

  • Restarting Sends log files to Logstash or directly to Elasticsearch. filebeat 2016/01/01 15:47:48.638268 transport.go:125: ERR SSL client failed to connect with: dial tcp IP ADDRESS:5044: getsockopt: connection refused

Can you provided a little bit more information? What is your setup? Which filebeat version are you using?

It looks like the connection to your host doesn't work. Is your host reachable from the client machine?
