Hi!
Just installed Metricbeat on Debian VM on GCP (following the docs) and I'm able to see the configuration file:
curl -L -O https://artifacts.elastic.co/downloads/beats/metricbeat/metricbeat-7.11.2-amd64.deb
sudo dpkg -i metricbeat-7.11.2-amd64.deb
sudo cat /etc/metricbeat/metricbeat.yml
......
VM info:
Distributor ID: Debian
Description: Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)
Release: 10
Codename: buster
