Exploring Beats for data storage performance analysis

Hi,

Is there a roadmap or plan to develop a beat for data storage performance analysis? PacketBeat is for network analysis and a similar solution for data storage metrics will definately make sense.
I have used Elastisearch and also developed an experimental program to parse sflow packets and processing in elastisearch.
I have been involved in software development in the data storage domain and thus I am very excited to start developing a beat for storage metrics.

I don't think we are working on this right now. But having a beat on data storage usage, performance metrics would be pretty awesome!!!
