How did you install Logstash?
It was already installed on the remote server through apt-get command following the https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/installing-logstash.html guide
Can it be uninstalled and reinstalled?
Yes, you should be able to uninstall and install it again like any other package.
