Heap dump file created

Hi All,

i am getting below error mesgae while running logstash 6.2.4

and this process is creating 8Gb dump file inside logstash and logstash is crashing after this.

Any help would be appreciated.

The heap dump is created because Logstash crashed. It ran out of memory. An 8 GB heap should be sufficient in most cases so I'm curious what your configuration looks like and what the event rate is.

Thanks for the reply.

it was running on 8 GB heap and total memory of the server is 16GB. I am receiving 40000 events per minute.
