How to configure server logs in Logstash?

I need to display logs which is in Unix server.How to connect Unix server and get the latest logs through Logstash configure? How to define server credentials and host details in Logstash configuration?

While not impossible to accomplish, Logstash is normally not configured to connect to the servers where the logs reside. You'd instead run an agent on those servers (preferably Filebeat since it's very lightweight) that reads and ships the logs to Logstash.
