How to disable exporting user.email or mask it

I am using Elastic APM 7.8 with .net core agent. Is there a way to disable certain exported fields?
I noticed that by default its logs user.email https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/apm/server/current/exported-fields-apm.html

How can I suppress this?

the Filter API on the agent would be one option.
