Hi, I am wondering where does fileabeat store its log files? I have tried search something like filebeat.log, but couldn't find anything on Arch Linux.

In 1.X the default output is syslog. If you want a file output you have to configure it in the config file. https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/1.2/configuration-logging.html
