How to install netflow on linux and use it for flow collector

HI

We are currently in the process of implementing a NetFlow-based flow collector for our network infrastructure, and we are seeking assistance with the installation procedure and configuration details for deploying the NetFlow plugin on various hypervisors and environments.

Specifically, we would appreciate guidance on the following:

  1. Installation Procedure:
  • Installing the NetFlow plugin on AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
  • Installing the NetFlow plugin on AWS EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud).
  • Installing the NetFlow plugin on a Linux server.
  1. Configuration Details for Integration:
  • Configuring the NetFlow plugin to integrate with flow exporters (network devices) for data collection.
  • Specifying NetFlow version (e.g., v5, v9, IPFIX) and any additional parameters required for integration.
  • Ensuring network connectivity between flow exporters and the NetFlow collector.

We kindly request your assistance in providing detailed instructions or documentation for accomplishing the above tasks. Any insights or best practices you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
