IRC Input Plugin - Identify with nickserv?

Is there a way to get the IRC Input plugin to identify with the irc server's nickserv upon connection? Many IRC channels limit access to identified users only.

We use the Cinch ruby library under the hood.

We don't do this in the plugin though.

Maybe you can create an issue in our plugin repo?
