Is globbing not supported in S3 input plugin prefix?

I've seen some mention of globbing not being supported in the S3 input plugin's prefix setting in threads from years ago but I just wanted to check in and see if that's still the case. At least it seems to be based on my testing but I didn't know if maybe I wasn't doing it right.

The documentation explicitly says "not a regexp".
