What Elasticsearch version is this ? We used to have a bug that affected utf-8 string values for keystore settings ( https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/pull/39496 ) but this was fixed in 7.2

In current versions I did a quick check and we handle long ( I checked up to 512 chars ) UTF-8 strings ( even with unprintable characters ) fine.

ELK 7.3 . I did more tests and it seems that we have a a problem with one special character.
We checked diffrent passwords and finally we setup the 26 signs that works.
Thnaks for assistance.

Would it be possible to let us know which character was the problematic one so that er can verify that this is not a buggy behavior on our side ?
