Update: We found out that file input in 1.5.1 does not work in circumstances described here: https://github.com/elastic/logstash/issues/3473
A fix has been merged into the file input repository and a new version published to RubyGems.org
We intend to release 1.5.2 soon with a fix. Until then you can manually update the plugin to get this fix.
Do:
bin/plugin update logstash-input-file
to get version 0.1.11
Hi,
I have downloaded the logstash 1.5.1.
I am still facing issue for tracking the current position of the log file being read.
Whenever I restart the logstash agent, it starts reading for the start due to which I am getting duplicate entries in my elastic search.
Please help to solve this issue
