With a fresh 2.4.0 Logstash deployment I hit an issue with the Redis input plugin. While the plugin was getting loaded (shown in debug mode) nothing was getting picked up from the Redis (v 3.2.3) queue. Redis was showing new incoming connections right after Logstash loaded... but after that, no activity and no apparent errors that I could see.
Downgrading to Logstash 2.3.4 resolved the issue.
As added note, the Redis output plugin does function noramally with Logstash 2.4.0, it's just the Redis input plugin that seems to fall flat.
Wondering if others are also seeing this issue with 2.4.0?
