if you are doing it as a user, I hope you are using sudo
logstash rpm install
yes vishal, i am doing as sudo.
That's not a Logstash problem, that's a shell issue local to your host.
please any suggestions how to solve the issue.
seems like something is wrong with the sudoers file, unfortunately this is not a linux support forum so can't help in here.
