[LogStash::Runner] runner - Logstash could not be started because there is already another instance using the configured data directory. If you wish to run multiple instances, you must change the "path.data" setting.
how can i know which all instances are running
and how to kill extra instances running
That would depend on which OS you are running. In Windows check the task manager in Linux check with the ps command and then kill the pid with the kill -9 command or stop the logstash service.
