Logstash not receiving events from Kafka

Hi team,

I have a ELK Stack with 2 Logstash Nodes in DataCentre1 and a Kafka Cluster in another DataCentre2 accepting log events from servers in DataCentre2 .

SitetoSite VPN connects the DC1 to DC2.
Telnet from Kafka cluster (Source) in DC2 to Logstash machines(Destination) in DC1 is enabled.
And kafka cluster is receiving messages from filebeats in DC2 (verified with Kafdrop)

But logstash is not receiving or consuming the messages.
Please help if any network related config miss is blocking messages from Kafka to logstash
