Logstash Pipeline Exception

Hi-
Am trying to trigger the .conf file on a ubuntu server to run as a background process, I see the below exception:

[ERROR] 2018-08-23 18:50:19.264 [main] Logstash - java.lang.IllegalStateException:
 Logstash stopped processing because of an error: (Errno::EPIPE) <STDERR>

command executed: /usr/share/logstash/bin/logstash -f /etc/logstash/conf.d/test.conf --path.data /usr/share/logstash/data/test &

Would someone please let me know when do we see this exception. Thanks !
