Logstash5 is more then 3 time slower then logstash2

Upgraded logstash2 with default config to logstash5 with also default config and got horrible performance on the same application config. Is it well known issue?

We use it to get messages from AWS SQS and push to ES (ELK). On the attached picture you can see result of 30 logstashes ver 5.6.8 for a long time and later we just rolled back to 20 instances of logstash2. Performance increased in more then 3 times with 30% less number of logstashes.
