on a Small Network i would like to Install, Config and use Logtash.
if i define a LXC Container how much size (Disk) would i Need, more or less?

i started on my LXC container, and not v5 !
the tutorial i use https://www.atlantic.net/community/howto/install-elk-stack-on-debian-8/
when doing a systemctl daemon-reload
i got a
root@elk-01:/etc/elasticsearch# systemctl status elasticsearch.service
Failed to get D-Bus connection: Unknown error -1
Check the logs, there should be something.
@syswombat seems to be an issue of the debain image and not related to Elasticsearch. See https://github.com/lxc/lxc/issues/979 and https://github.com/lxc/lxd/issues/1911
Just use another distro image.
