Hello,
Follwoing this post to create index per namespace, I couldn't make metricbeat work to get metrics first from kubernetes.
I'm using:
- ELK v8.2
- metricbeat 8.2
- kube-state-metrics
- Microsoft Windows [version 10.0.19042.1706]
- Docker dekstop 4.9.0 (80466)
I downloaded metricbeat using curl -L -O https://raw.githubusercontent.com/elastic/beats/8.2/deploy/kubernetes/metricbeat-kubernetes.yaml
and only changed default namespace, when running metricbeat I have the following errors:
{"log.level":"error","@timestamp":"2022-06-16T13:35:55.086Z","log.logger":"kubernetes.container","log.origin":{"file.name":"container/container.go","file.line":91},"message":"error making http request: Get \"https://docker-desktop:10250/stats/summary\": net/http: request canceled (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers)","service.name":"metricbeat","ecs.version":"1.6.0"}
