Metricbeat dashboard setup fails

Good afternoon,

I am unable to set up Metricbeats dashboards. Here is the error I receive:

Hi @satherev. The first thing that I noticed is that the error says HTTP GET request to http://redacted:5601/api/status fails (note http://) but you have TLS enabled in kibana.yml:

server.ssl.enabled: true

Could it be the setup.kibana.host was missing an s?

As a second check, are you able to reach Kibana successfully through that URL (i.e. web browser or other way)?

I did not advise to disable SSL, but to check the setup.kibana.host setting in metricbeat.yml, that you redacted. In the error message you posted it was missing a s, thus making it an HTTP URL instead of HTTPS.
Could you please confirm the URL in setup.kibana.host begins with https://?
