I have a questions regarding multiline codec in logstash.
i tried to parsed multiline xml structure in windows event log, but not only xml log, there are other log as well, so i wanted to ask if when i put the codec multiline in input form will other log affected by this codec or will it be just the type that i have config for it.

If you add a codec to an input it is used to generate every event.
