Nats.io "official" support as a move towards a distributed system

Howdy Logstash community!

I am curious.

Are there are any plans to make a nats.io-input-plugin an official plugin for Logstash?

Why is this important ?

I believe that kafka, rmq, 0mq and inputs like that are of great value for scaling.
The workflow is simple and elegant.
First, you configure a more-or-less stateless logstash instance connected to a message broker.
Then scale that logstash instance up or down horizontally without any complex tooling/workflow.
And nats.io is an awesome and different in nature message queue that logstash doesn't yet officially support
