Node name issue using packer

Hi I am using Packers masterless puppet provisioner and the elastic/elasticsearch puppet module to create AMIs to build my cluster in AWS.

This is al working nicely. The only problem I am having is how to assign unique node names when launching the AMI.

Has anyone else tried doing the same thing and if so, how did you solve it?
