I am trying to apply grok filter to kafka.key but it isnt getting applied.
filter{
grok{
match => ['kafka.key' , '%{GREEDYDATA: IP Address}']
break_on_match => false
}
}
I am using this . There is no failure msg on stdout as well.

If kafka.key is a nested field the supported notation is [kafka][key].
