On what all platforms/server/FTPs, i can configure filebeats in realtime application project, which platform is the best?

Hello,
I want to use the filebeats for shipping logs of my application and send to kafka cluster(log ingestion).

So, where can i host the filebeat in project realtime, is it either on vm/webserver/containers/ftp ? and which approach is best to deploy the filebeat with pros.
