hmm.. similar exception I countered today, has 64bit linux os with 64bit
openjdk, but the heap is very small at 128MB, eventually
I increase it to 256MB, that does seem to appear for now.

Check if you can set up a 64bit OS and a 64bit JVM. This helps for direct
memory addressing.
