Is it possible to configure packetbeat to monitor the response time of traffic that is being transmitted over tcp or udp, no matter what the layer 7 protocol is? For example, I have an application that transmits data over TCP/5001. I don't really care about the payload of the conversation, but i do care about whether and how fast packets are being delivered.
no one??? I would have thought this particular use case my be attractive to those who use commercial solutions from Riverbed (Netshark) or CA Technologies (Application Delivery Analysis)
