Rancher/RKE officially supported for ECK?

Hi All,

I was wondering if Rancher/RKE is officially support for ECK or not.

Looking at: Support Matrix | Elastic its not directly listed, but it does state (Vanilla Kubernetes 1.12+) which RKE is for the most part.

Also, on the ECK Github, the issue template contains:

  • Kubernetes distribution: Openshift / Rancher / PKS ?

So I wanted to confirm whether Rancher/RKE would be considered supported for ECK.

Rancher Kubernetes Engine is a certified Kubernetes installer (no distribution) so this is covered under the definition of "Vanilla Kubernetes".
