Another point to note is I have a single node and currently it shows 5 Shards per index but they are all unassigned.
Anything you can recommend here?
If you have a single node, you can never assign replica shards, so that is natural. If you want to get to a green state you need to either add one or more nodes or change the number of replicas to 0.
I did that and my errors also went away! Thank you.
