Recreate index from scratch with static file

Hello,

I have a static log file for testing, and every time I recreated the index (for testing purpose), there is no data in the index.
I have to change the file name and restart the filebeat service.

Is there an option to recreate the index from scratch?

Filebeat stores state in a local registry file. You need to delete that file. It's normally at /var/lib/filebeat/registry.
