"service" command is not working for Logstash

Hi Team,

"service logstash start" is not working for logstash, logstash.pid is creating after executing the command but logs are not pushing to elasticsearch

On executing "/opt/logstash/bin/logstash agent -f /opt/logstash/conf.d/logstash.conf &" command, logs are pushing normally.......

Have you looked in the Logstash log file for clues?

there is nothing in the Log....

Logstash should at least log something upon startup. Increase the logging verbosity and check again that you're able to get something in the log.
