What timezone is your browser set to though?

So either set the browser timezone to UTC or set the Advanced setting in Kibana as above to UTC, does that sort?
If i set it to UTC then my @timestamp value will be in UTC. And it will be quite difficult for me to check whether logs are coming on kibana in real time or not else i need to convert UTC to IST everytime whenever i want to check the logs are coming on kibana or not in real time.
Yes but does the date-time field change at all when you do that temporary work around?
