I read somewhere that the vSphere module is in beta version. Is that true?
Is there a plan to collect more metrics in vSphere module as the current fields are very limited?

The vSphere Metricbeat module has been GA since version 7.7 of Metricbeat.

It looks like there are several requests to add new fields to the vSphere module. You can see them here: Issues · elastic/beats · GitHub. Feel free to add to any of those issues or create a new issue for any specific fields you'd like to see in the module.

I want to collect disk IO and network metrics from ESXi and this module doesn't have disk IO and network metrics just like we have it for Linux/Windows. Do you know any workaround to collect these metrics from ESXi?
