Hey folks,
I was curious about what happens when winlogbeat cant communicate with logstash or elastic from the client impact side of things. I haven't seen any impact or issues occur but was curious what events occur. From a few searches it sounds like you can set the amount of retires and the file location but thats the extent of what I have found so far.
Are their any winlogbeat settings to be concerned about or to change to ensure something doesn't crash down the road?
