Windows Server 2025 Support

Hi there,

we're currently evaluating the use of Winlog/Filebeat on Microsofts latest Major Release Windows Server 2025. As it's not yet in the Support Matrix: Is there any information on when Elastic will officially support it?

Guesses also welcome :wink:

There is currently work underway to add Windows 2025 to our CI test matrix for Beats and Elastic Agent. At least one manual smoke test has been performed on Windows 2025, and no issues were found. Optimistically, if no additional issues are found after CI testing is enabled, then I would expect the matrix would be updated in the next couple of weeks (likely to coincide with an 8.x minor release).

targeted for support in 8.17. Will be added to the matrix then.
