Hi, I want to benchmark ES with my custom plugin.
but If I added my plugin, an error occurred.
Caused by: java.security.AccessControlException: access denied ("java.util.PropertyPermission" "io.netty.recycler.maxCapacityPerThread" "write")
at java.security.AccessControlContext.checkPermission(AccessControlContext.java:472) ~[?:1.8.0_161]
at java.security.AccessController.checkPermission(AccessController.java:884) ~[?:1.8.0_161]
at java.lang.SecurityManager.checkPermission(SecurityManager.java:549) ~[?:1.8.0_161]
at java.lang.System.setProperty(System.java:792) ~[?:1.8.0_161]
at org.elasticsearch.transport.client.PreBuiltTransportClient.setSystemPropertyIfUnset(PreBuiltTransportClient.java:84) ~[?:?]
at org.elasticsearch.transport.client.PreBuiltTransportClient.initializeNetty(PreBuiltTransportClient.java:77) ~[?:?]
at org.elasticsearch.transport.client.PreBuiltTransportClient.<clinit>(PreBuiltTransportClient.java:58) ~[?:?]
It occurred when I ran ES with the custom plugin using Rally.
If I don't use Rally (start bin/elasticsearch
after installing the custom plugin), an error does not occur.
++++
I added this option export ES_JAVA_OPTS="-Dio.netty.recycler.maxCapacityPerThread=0";
like below, for solving the problem.
export ES_JAVA_OPTS="-Dio.netty.recycler.maxCapacityPerThread=0"; esrally --distribution-version=5.6.4 --user-tag="plugin:geonames" --elasticsearch-plugins=my-plugin
so another error occurred in ES.
