Adding new node to Elastic search brought down search itself

I am having an issue with adding new node in existing elastic search index, we have 8 working node without any issue, but adding new node with similar configuration (Yml, Version, Jdk) is bringing complete search feature down. This new node is getting added to vip, able to ping, portqry from all servers but does not connect when we search with local host. Could you please help on this issue.

Elastic Search version is 5.1.1
JDK is 131.

Can you provide the logfile when you start the new node, from /var/log/elasticsearch/NODENAME.log
