Advice and resources on deploying EL on VMs

Hi

Can one advise or point to references on best practices on deploying EL on VMs?
What config to go for? impact and issues that can arise from VMs with over-subscription.

We don't have anything about over subscription, though I'd suggest you don't use memory ballooning, I have seen some pretty bad things with that and mlockall.
