Hi
I am using elastic stacks 7.8.1 and trying to write data in elastic cluster from logstash. this is my simple test pipeline

}

output{
                elasticsearch{
                        hosts => "localhost:9200"
                        ssl=> true
                        ssl_certificate_verification => false
                        cacert => "/etc/logstash/certs/client-ca.cer"
                        user => "user"
                        password => "password"
                        index => "test"
                        document_type => "_doc"
                        template => "mytemplate.json"
                        template_name => "mytemplate-*"
                        template_overwrite => true
                        ilm_enabled => "false"
                }
stdout{}
}

runnig logstash get this error

template file was tested, installed by curl and it was ok, but no actions helped

Try removing the * from the name and see if that helps.

yeah thanks that's working, but does it have any effects on indexes gonna create later?

No, it's the template identifier, not the matching pattern.
