Hi,
for all of us who have to struggle with non-JSON environments, XML
input/output of Elasticsearch may be helpful.
Maybe you want to try out an XML plugin. It is a simple REST filter for
sending and receiving XML, underneath using Jackson's XML parser and
generator.
There are some edges and shortcomings due to the nature of XML but every
contribution is welcome.
