[ANNOUNCEMENT] New release of logstashbeat for Logstash 5.0.0-alpha5

Logstash 5.0.0-alpha5 has been released yesterday with a good deal of new features. The Monitoring API has been cleaned up a bit and a few more fixes are in the pipe.

Also as announced previously, this release includes the handling of some additional fields, namely:

  • matches, failures, patterns_per_field for the grok filter
  • matches and formats for the date filter
