Hi Beats community,
I'm please to announce that, I added a Metricbeat for Spring Boot 2 leveraging the micrometer.io metrics facade: https://github.com/philkra/springboot2beat
The Metricbeat pulls all available metrics from a Spring Boot 2 application using the web interface as channel, curated by metricmeter.io .

You should have access to Community Ecosystem. https://discuss.elastic.co/c/announcements/community-ecosystem This is where you can announce the release of your Beat.
The documentation you referred to seems to be incorrect.
