For some reason, I use windows to run logstash and might be able to get stuck on a few of things to deal with, things like sincedb_path and performance issue.
I am wondering how to run logstash in the back with a powerful machine might be helpful? Any thoughts?
So... Logstash isn't fast enough for you? How do you know it's Logstash and not Elasticsearch (if that's where Logstash is sending the events)? Are you saturating the CPUs? Is the machine swapping? What hardware are you currently running Logstash on? What rate of events are you getting through Logstash?
