Architecture of Github's elasticsearch cluster

Hey guys, thought members of this list might be interested in this
interview I did with the github elasticsearch team. It's an in-depth look
at their elasticsearch infrastructure, covering many of the details of
their setup.

IMO sun jvm is still recommended for Lucene.

Hi,

This is correct. I highly recommend watching Uwe Schindler's talk at Berlin
Buzzwords called "Testing Lucene and Solr with various JVMs: bugs, bugs,
bugs" where he explains some bugs you may encounter depending on the JVM
you are using and gives a final recommendation about JVMs that may be used
with Lucene.
