Authorization via Google account/Google Groups?

Is it possible to:

  1. Authenticate that user is Google user U
  2. Limit documents user U can access based on membership in a Google Group

Hi Melissa,

  1. You can authenticate a user via their Google account by putting Kibana behind a proxy which uses Google Sign-in or the Google Oauth API.
  2. Kibana doesn't support object-level security yet, but it's something we're working on. Please feel free to follow this issue to stay apprised of progress.
