Avoid adding some naughty node to the cluster

Hello,
is there in ES 7.x a way how to avoid to join some naughty node to the cluster?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "naughty node" but as a general rule the best way to control which nodes may join the cluster is by enabling security and using TLS to require each node in the cluster to have a valid certificate.

I had in mind a node which is not in my administration. I would like to find some solutions to verify whether this node is trusted and can join the cluster. Your answer is what I was looking for.
