Hi,

I'm about to setup a (initially small) cluster on Azure and are wondering
about the status and functionality of the azure plugin discussed in What's
the recommended ElasticSearch deployment on Windows Azure?http://stackoverflow.com/a/16520174/22092

What steps, if any, of the azure process described in Running ElasticSearch
in a cluster on Azurehttp://thomasardal.com/running-elasticsearch-in-a-cluster-on-azure/
(and Install ElasticSearch on Ubuntu VMs in Azurehttp://mookid.dk/oncode/archives/3518)
will be simplified/obsolete?

Also, do you have any plans for a Azure Service Bus river?

We will probably release azure cloud plugin for elasticsearch in the next weeks.

It will basically first help to find automatically other elasticsearch nodes without the need of setting the unicast list of nodes.

In a second time, we will add more features relative to snapshot and restore coming in elasticsearch 1.0.

No plan for Azure Service Bus river.
